Clever piece from Sunday’s “Hot Air” site….though it focused on the seemingly never ending idiotic remarks from DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the author’s idea for an Obama/Democrat campaign slogan is right on the money! I mean, can you HONESTLY say we need 4 more years of this man in the White House..accompanied with a return to the Democrats controlling both houses of Congress? Do we owe them a thank you for continuing high levels of unemployment, for an agenda built on empowering government with no end in sight, for an aloof and completely out of focus foreign policy, and a general malaise this country has not seen since the Great Depression? All it takes is to ask yourself that question.
That being said, I’m still waiting on the Republicans to hone their game plan for the next election. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. The nominee needs to have the guts to take on this President and his party with an “in your face” attitude. For the life of me, I do not see what is so hard about that. Just look at Mr. Obama’s track record…and that of the Democrats. Every single policy agenda, every single piece of legislation…they can all be refuted with simple fact. They are costly, divisive, and do absolutely nothing but grow the federal government. This is not that hard.
I didn’t watch the debate (I was otherwise engaged in a rerun of “Two and a Half Men”…which, btw, Ashton Kutcher = end of the line for the series!) but, at least the focus was on that disaster in the Oval Office. Not each other.
The time is coming. It is time to remove Mr. Obama from the Presidency and replace him with a leader that actually listens to the voters…not a President who TELLS the voters what they need.
