Everybody’s talking….

Time, once again, for my favorite post of the week….what’s being said and who said it….in the never ending firestorm of economics and politics…..

“He’s got to get off the golf course and he’s got to get engaged…he has a responsibility as a leader…” Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) on President Obama’s lack of participation on resolving the issue of a budget…something the Congress hasn’t done in quite some time…Not sure what the representative thinks the President can do…Mr. Obama has not the slightest idea on or interest in resolving this crisis.

And speaking of our dear leader….

“We can’t simply cut our way to prosperity…we need to do what’s necessary to grow our economy; create good middle-class jobs; and make it possible for all Americans to pursue their dreams.”..

More empty words from the President’s weekly radio address while announcing the Advanced Manufacturing Partnership..yet another government sponsored program this Administration has proposed..they’re trying just about ANYTHING to see if it sticks….no luck so far!

“You think the deficit’s bad now?…wait until you have pay real interest on your debt!” – S&P’s Michael Thompson on the possibility of downgrading the government’s credit worthiness. Their report paints a sobering picture of a scenario many have thought unthinkable…until Barack Obama took office….

“I don’t enjoy when people don’t like me…I would prefer to be well liked in any and all situations. And I also feel it’s quite unjust to be punished for calling racism ‘racism’. And I don’t know why so few people, especially back then…a couple of years ago..were willing to say that word.” – the extremely LIKABLE Janeane Garofalo on Keith Olbermann’s reboot of a TV show..

I know you’re so very concerned about what concerns Janeane Garofalo!

A favorite cartoon……

A perfect summation of the Democrats’ policies…courtesy of Nate Beeler at the Washington Examiner….
