Strikes me as interesting…not surprising, though…that the media is getting a jump start on setting the narrative for the 2012 elections. Of course, if you follow national politics with even just a passing interest, you KNOW it is quite in line with their agenda.
Some stories from ‘The Hill’:
Seems to be their take that Congress is a toss up. Though the Democrats chances at regaining control are “not much better than 25 percent”, you can bet the editors here will make sure to trumpet stories highlighting anything that even hints at a shift. I, for one, doubt the voters are eager to revert to the previous situation; where we had bills proposed and enacted BEFORE the public was made aware of the contents.
If you don’t see this as a swipe at Herman Cain, you haven’t been paying attention. Gee…I wonder where this poll was during the Clinton years?…hmmm…. Once again, it’s a targeted story to make sure the focus remains on Cain’s apparent indiscretions.
I alluded to this disastrous idea in a previous post. It does nothing more than hit home the fact the Democrats know NOTHING about spending reform. Only convoluted methods of implementing more taxes. There’s absolutely no doubt this will lead to a tax that will grow in scope and take on a life of its own. It will NEVER go away!
From the A.P.:
Why do you suppose that is?….Couldn’t be more focused, responsible older Americans that made BETTER choices when they were younger…could it?…Nah…that would be too sensible….With the attention span of today’s youth at minutes..literally…this story is just another excuse offered to complain about “greed” and “unfairness”…
We are a year away, folks!
