"I'm not being criticized because I'm incompetent...it's because I'm black..."

You KNEW it was just a matter of time before Attorney General Eric Holder played the race card in answering his critics! Mr. Attorney General, I don’t suppose it could be because your department is inept and politically motivated in the cases it pursues?…nah, couldn’t POSSIBLY be that!….

You can find more here…. HOLDER PLAYS THE RACE CARD ON HIS CRITICS: THEY’RE ATTACKING ME AND OBAMA BECAUSE WE’RE BOTH BLACK – Weasel Zippers

CRITIC’S CORNER MONDAY – Robert Bianco @ USA Today

Monday Night Football’, ‘Scrooge

* Unless you’re planning to watch Monday Night Football (ESPN, 8:30 ET/5:30 PT), it’s not an inspiring evening.

But there’s still at least one offering available to get you into the seasonal spirit.

TN's Stephen Lang and Jason O'Mara

No matter the holiday, if you’ve been watching Terra Nova (Fox, 8 ET/PT), the obvious viewing choice is tonight’s season — and possibly series — finale.

This two-hour special finds the villains from the future invading the past, forcing the Terra Novians to make what Fox is calling their “last stand.”

Fans had better hope that doesn’t prove to be prophetic, though if it is, the writers have no one to blame but themselves.

Albert Finney as 'Ebenezer Scrooge'

Thank you very much, TCM.

The movie channel offers a Christmas treat withScrooge (10:15 ET/7:15 PT), Albert Finney‘s underappreciated 1970 version that got swept up in the era’s understandable critical disdain for bloated movie musicals.

This one’s a bit overdone as well, but the score hums along in entertaining fashion, as does Finney’s performance.

It’s not a great film, but it is a fun one the entire family can enjoy.
