They say “the more things change, the more they stay the same”…
That is never more true than it is in American politics. With an important election a bit more than a month away, you’d certainly be unaware if it was left to the Republican party to get the word out.
With the Senate up for grabs, as well as important governorships across the nation, the political capital to be gained is significant. At least, that’s what sensible thought tells you.
Apparently not.
The Republican party has been practically silent in its response to the OBVIOUS vulnerability of Democrats across the nation. I find myself perplexed, yet not surprised. Republicans have been basically neutered since Barack Obama took office. We’re all aware of that. However, it would certainly be a logical conclusion they COULD offer a forceful alternative, should they choose to do so.
Take a look around you. Things ARE not going well on any front…socially, economically. Not to mention our relationships abroad.
Yet, we get…nothing…It’s frustrating when it’s so plain to see the damage inflicted upon this country by the political left and the Democrats! No Republican candidate has stepped forward to point out the clarity of this situation. The confounding fact is this stuff is NOT that difficult to grasp! The lunacy of the Obama administration, coupled with COMPLETE incompetence, continues unchecked!
Witness the utter buffoonery displayed by Secretary of State, John Kerry, testifying before a Senate committee on the administration’s efforts to combat the Isis/Isil threat in the middle east.. Obviously, the moronic Kerry is more concerned with Code Pink protestors than the seriousness of the this threat..

I also know something about Code Pink. You ought to care about fighting ISIL, because ISIL is killing and raping and mutilating women, and they believe women shouldn’t have an education. It’s more than obvious the important matter here is to protect the Obama administration through the requisite pandering. THAT is priority number 1! Fortunately, there are exceptions to the GOP’s stance. Tennessee’s Senator Corker (R) lent some common sense to the proceedings….
“Do you realize how unserious the things that you have laid out and the things that were laid out yesterday sound when you’re discussing training 5,000 — in you all’s own words — doctors and dentists and others in Saudi Arabia, over a year? I’m disappointed. I was disappointed in the briefing we had last week. I hope you’ll lay out a plan that will convince us that you’re serious about doing the things you said you’re gonna do — to the American people and to us — about ISIL, because you haven’t done it now.”
But, as is true to form, you have MORONS like California’s Barbara Boxer(D) throwing in her nonsense…
“I think it is shocking and a sad state of affairs that we heard just now such angry comments aimed at you, Mr. Secretary — and through you, at our president — instead of at ISIS, a savage group who decapitated two Americans and have warned, and I quote, that their thirst for more American blood is right out there. I think it’s shocking. I’m actually shaking and trembling. This is not the time to show anger at the people who are working night and day, whether you agree with them or not, to protect our people.”
Again, we ALL know where the priorities lie for Senator Boxer, and other Democrats!
The Republican party leadership has made the conscious decision to ignore the sheer stupidity and selfishness exemplified by the Obama administration and their Democrat allies. It’s disheartening to witness as the nation continues to falter. We’ve witnessed the level of this idiocy on the rise for nearly 6 years…
Unless the discouragement and frustration reaches the point where enough of the voters are fed up, nothing will change. And it’s a fact that we are NOT going to find our concerns taken seriously by either party in Washington. That point is inarguable.
