As election time nears, and just like clockwork, the Democrats have found and eager accomplice in the Republican candidate. Whether it’s apologizing for something that didn’t happen or explaining a stance on a non existent issue, the GOP falls for the bait every single time.
This year is different only in the sense that Donald Trump’s combative attitude plays right in to Hillary’s scheme. The Clinton campaign has shifted the debate away from immigration, debt, unemployment, and national security to Donald Trump’s taxes and Miss Universe. Of course, the media enhances the message with the premise that these sorts of matters are of vital concern to the American people. And you wonder why we are where we are in this country!
This election season is indeed a fiery one…And it’s just getting started…
Aside from the shameful occurrences in San Jose, CA last week, you may be having a difficult time grasping Donald Trump’s appeal to vast numbers of voters..If you take the time to look behind the lackluster reporting of most of the mainstream media, the answer is fairly obvious…
This is from the Wall Street Journal, June 4-5, 2016 edition…
“The U.S. job market notched its weakest monthly gain in more than five year, knocking down expectations for a Federal Reserve rate increase and stirring worries about the seven-year old economic expansion.
Employers added 38,000 jobs in May, the weakest performance since September 2010, the Labor Department said Friday. The unemployment rate, obtained from a separate survey of households, fell to 4.7% from 5% in April largely due to a steep decline in labor-force participation.
Revisions to previous payroll data showed employers added a combined 59,000 FEWER jobs in April and March than previously reported. That brought average monthly job growth in the past three months to 116,000, a sharp SLOWDOWN from the average growth of 219,000 over the prior 12 months.”
There you have it.. If you believe there’s real, viable job growth in this country, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you… Yet we have a president in Barack Obama who goes out and touts the reduction in unemployment when you have millions of americans, that presumably WANT a job, dropping out of the work force because there are no REAL jobs that offer career opportunities as in the past. Figures are tossed out by the administration, only to be revised a month or two later with disappointing results. Yet, I’m certain the actual number of Americans that follow that could likely be counted on one hand.
I’m surprised the WJS refers to a “seven-year old economic expansion”! I see no proof or evidence of that!. What the Obama administration, and presumptive Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton, fail to realize is voters are not “feeling” or experiencing what they’re being told. They don’t see it! It ain’t happening in real lives outside of Washington, DC!
Trump has clued into this. He knows the lies are not being bought any longer. People are fed up with an administration and government the continually attempts to placate frustration with more and more lies..while becoming indignant when challenged. Whether Donald Trump can make a difference..well, that remains to be seen. One thing is certain..If Hillary Clinton is awarded the White House in November, you can expect more of the same! THAT in and of itself is cause for some serious concern!
Needless to say, I’ve made up MY mind about who to support in 2016. Provided he’s still a candidate. I’m really hoping the latter comes true.
Donald Trump has scored big with millions of Americans who have been looking for someone to give voice to their frustrations over the last decade. Imagine that! A candidate who tells it like it is and says what needs to be said! What a novel idea!
After major Republicans flubs in 2008 and 2012, why shouldn’t they?… How a candidate could lose to the absolute worst president in the history of the United States is beyond me! But, Mitt Romney managed to do so!
Along comes Donald Trump in 2015, seizing upon what he KNOWS Americans feel! No other politician would have the gall to take advantage of that! Of course, Trump isn’t a politician. Considering how BAD this country’s national disgust is with those that have been in charge for far too long, he is the right man at the right time.
As expected, the political class, pundits, and prognosticators are up in arms! There’s no way they’re going to stand by and allow someone who actually LISTENS to the people find his way to the White House. Their frustration lies in the fact that they just can’t seem to grasp the situation. Which is something anyone with common sense can figure out!
I’d like to defer to Rush Limbaugh’s analysis of the Trump saga as it continues to play out since the first Republican debate.. As usual, ‘the godfather’ lays it out in laymen’s terms and makes it crystal clear!….
“There’s a percentage of the population that is totally fed up with the political class, including the media. And they have wanted things said to people and about people for the people they’ve been voting for for years and they haven’t heard it. I mean, the media is not loved. The media in some cases is despised, and Trump is giving it right back to ’em in ways that many people in this country have dreamed of happening. And, as such, he comes off as refreshing….
There is real visceral anger over this amnesty BS. There is real visceral anger over what’s been done for the economy. There is real visceral anger over what is being done to the health care system via Obamacare. The reason they don’t know it is because they do not care to talk to the people who feel that way, so they never do features on them. They never go out and do man-on-the-street interviews with people like that.
Because they are interested in furthering the agenda that has made all of this happen. Now, they know there are gonna be some people that disagree with it, but they immediately relegate them to insignificant status. They’re either bitter clingers or they’re lunkheads or they’re small in number or they’re just old-fashioned ditties that don’t deal well with change or what have you. But they’re missing the real anger, and it’s been building.
The anger, you can see it in the midterm 2010, 2014 elections. There have been people have shown up in droves. The Democrats have lost over a thousand seats in those midterm elections, and part of those elections were Republicans being elected because the people voting for them wanted them to stop all of this, or at least try. And they don’t see any trying to stop it. They don’t see any effort being made, any serious effort to defund Planned Parenthood.
I think there’s some real outrage in this country over what has been learned, was always suspected but now what has been confirmed was going on in those abortion clinics. There’s real anger out there. And the one person that’s come along that’s tapped into it and that gives everybody the impression that he’s fully aware of it and agrees with them is Donald Trump. As such, he’s got a pretty wide berth here. He’s got a pretty big margin of error…”
“Visceral anger!”..That sums it up perfectly! Millions of Americans are simply fed up! And they have been waiting for YEARS to have a candidate that speaks to that! Say what you will about Trump..love him..hate him… He knows what he’s doing and offers the best chance to turn around the disastrous direction in which we’re currently headed. Sadly, most other GOP options can’t come near dynamic enthusiasm Trump projects. And the strongest attraction?..He doesn’t give a DAMN about the media and political elites. And that frightens them! For me, that is a MAJOR advancement in taking control of a nation that seems to be SPIRALING out of control!
As is often the case these days, our national media has decided, YET AGAIN, to make it clear where they stand. As if you didn’t already know!
Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, made it clear where HE stands on the ongoing problem of illegal immigration in this country! A problem the federal government under the Obama administration absolutely REFUSES to address, when it comes to securing our borders.
As eloquent as he’s known to be (sic!), Trump’s remarks have ignited the self proclaimed indignation of the media and left leaning ideologues….
Of course, the BIGGEST problem here is Trump is telling the truth! And we can’t have that! The truth died a long time ago at the hands of the political class. Now NBC, Macy’s, and the latest possibility being New York City, have either suspended or are considering such a move, their relationship with ‘The Donald’.
But let the President of the United States utter these words, and there’s hardly a blip on the radar of the politically correct….
Gotta keep an eye out for the ‘gang bangers’, per Mr. Obama! Nothing outrageous about that!
The ironic thing about BOTH remarks is they’re BOTH true! The difference being Barack Obama is allowed such musings while Trump is an insensitive bastard. It’s the way things work when a complicit media does what they can to make sure “progressive” causes are championed and common sense is continually maligned.
It’s a sad, sad observation of the state of the nation. Our society has fallen completely to the whims of politics over substantive solutions to very real problems. The continued divisiveness has turned truth into a ‘four letter word’, if you will.
With a president lacking in integrity, a supreme court issuing decisions based on the way the political wind is blowing, and a legislative body without the spine to face the future, our nation is doomed. Out country is falling into the hands of those who wish nothing more than to capitalize on the lack of resolve we’re now mired in.
Next year will be the 240th birthday of this nation. If you’re surprised we’ve survived as long as we have or that our days are numbered, you’re not alone. It’s a frightening premise, but one we would all do well to consider.
Call him what you will, but Donald Trump is RIGHT about SO many things!…..
Some excerpts from his speech in announcing his running for president…
“I’m really rich…that’s the kind of thinking you need for this country. It sounds crass, it’s not crass..”
“That’s the kind of thinking our country needs…”… “We have the opposite thinking. We have losers. We have people that don’t have it. We have people that are morally corrupt.”
On Obamacare and the website fiasco: “I hire people, they do a website, it costs $3!
On our losing status in the world:
“I’m not saying they’re stupid, I like China..”… “I just sold an apartment for $15 million to someone from China. Am I supposed to dislike them?”
“Politicians are all talk and no action,”….“We have losers. We have people who are morally corrupt. We have people who are taking the country down the drain.”
“I’m really proud of my success, I really am,”….”I’ve employed tens of thousands of people over my lifetime. That means medical, that means education, that means everything. So a large accounting firm and my accountants have been working for months — because it’s big and complex — and they’ve put together a statement.”
“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best..”
“They’re sending people who have lots of problems,… which include “drugs” and “being rapists.”
Just a few of what many consider outrageous remarks…That very well may be..but, for the most part they tell it like it is!!
With the United States literally under assault across a good portion of the world, the Federal Reserve and Ben Bernanke have decided to tamper once again with the nation’s already damaged economy. Yep! Undoubtedly at President Obama’s direction, the dangerously powerful Fed plans on inflicting more harm..to the tune of $40BILLION a month…In essence…they’re just printing more money…and the dollar will suffer. In the meantime, the media is more focused on fabricating the narrative that somehow the collapse of Barak Obama’s Middle East policy is Mitt Romney’s fault…that’s a strange assumption…Especially when the United States HAS NO MIDDLE EAST POLICY UNDER BARACK OBAMA!
The guys at End of the American Dream have put together this analysis that will add fuel to the fires that are already burning…Barack Obama’s plan for a diminished America continues!
From End of the American Dream:
Ready or not, QE3 is here, and the long-term effects of this reckless money printing by the Federal Reserve are going to be absolutely nightmarish. The Federal Reserve is hoping that buying $40 billion worth of mortgage-backed securities per month will spur more lending and more economic activity. But that didn’t happen with either QE1 or QE2. Both times the banks just sat on most of the extra money. As I pointed out the other day, U.S. banks are already sitting on $1.6 trillion in excess reserves. So will pumping them up with more cash suddenly make them decide to start lending? Of course not. In addition, QE3 is not likely to produce many additional jobs. As I showed in a previous article, the employment level did not jump up as a result of either QE1 or QE2. So why will this time be different? But what did happen under both QE1 and QE2 is that a lot of the money ended up pumping up the financial markets. So once again we should see stock prices go up (at least in the short-term) and commodities such as gold, silver, food and oil should also rise. But that also means that average American families will be paying more for the basic necessities that they buy on a regular basis. The most dangerous aspect of QE3, however, is what it is going to do to the U.S. dollar. Most of the rest of the world uses the U.S. dollar to conduct international trade, and by choosing to recklessly print money Ben Bernanke is severely damaging international confidence in our currency. If at some point the rest of the world rejects the dollar and no longer wants to use it as a reserve currency we are going to be facing a crisis unlike anything we have ever seen before. The real debate about QE3 should not be about whether or not it will help the economy a little bit in the short-term. Rather, everyone should be talking about the long-term implications and about how QE3 is going to accelerate the destruction of the dollar.
The following are 10 shocking quotes about what QE3 is going to do to America….
#1 Ron Paul
“It means we are weakening the dollar. We are trying to liquidate our debt through inflation. The consequence of what the Fed is doing is a lot more than just CPI. It has to do with malinvestment and people doing the wrong things at the wrong time. Believe me, there is plenty of that. The one thing that Bernanke has not achieved and it frustrates him, I can tell—is he gets no economic growth. He doesn’t do anything with the unemployment numbers. I think the country should have panicked over what the Fed is saying that we have lost control and the only thing we have left is massively creating new money out of thin air, which has not worked before, and is not going to work this time.”
“This is a disastrous monetary policy; it’s kamikaze monetary policy”
“This is the nuclear option for them. This is a never-ending weapon that is being fired at the middle class”
#4 Donald Trump
“People like me will benefit from this.”
“Quantitative easing—a fancy term for the Federal Reserve buying securities from predefined financial institutions, such as their investments in federal debt or mortgages—is fundamentally a regressive redistribution program that has been boosting wealth for those already engaged in the financial sector or those who already own homes, but passing little along to the rest of the economy. It is a primary driver of income inequality formed by crony capitalism. And it is hurting prospects for economic growth down the road by promoting malinvestments in the economy.”
“That’s absolutely nonsense. The Fed is just propping up the banks.”
#7 Marc Faber
“I happen to believe that eventually we will have a systemic crisis and everything will collapse. But the question is really between here and then. Will everything collapse with Dow Jones 20,000 or 50,000 or 10 million? Mr. Bernanke is a money printer and, believe me, if Mr. Romney wins the election the next Fed chairman will also be a money printer. And so it will go on. The Europeans will print money. The Chinese will print money. Everybody will print money and the purchasing power of paper money will go down.”
“I think this will end up being a trillion-dollar commitment by the Fed”
“I want to be clear — While I think we can make a meaningful and significant contribution to reducing this problem, we can’t solve it. We don’t have tools that are strong enough to solve the unemployment problem”
“[T]he FED’s QE3 will stoke the stock market and commodity prices, but in our opinion will hurt the US economy and, by extension, credit quality. Issuing additional currency and depressing interest rates via the purchasing of MBS does little to raise the real GDP of the US, but does reduce the value of the dollar (because of the increase in money supply), and in turn increase the cost of commodities (see the recent rise in the prices of energy, gold, and other commodities). The increased cost of commodities will pressure profitability of businesses, and increase the costs of consumers thereby reducing consumer purchasing power. Hence, in our opinion QE3 will be detrimental to credit quality for the US….”
We have reached a major turning point in the financial history of the United States.
It would be hard to overstate how much damage that QE3 could potentially do to our financial system. If the rest of the world decides at some point that they no longer have confidence in our dollars and our debt then we are finished.
Sadly, the mainstream media does not seem to understand this, and most Americans gleefully believe whatever the mainstream media tells them.
So what do you think about QE3?….comment here: End of the American Dream
