Upside Down!

Do you get the feeling that more and more and more of current events are just completely topsy turvy?…

More situations and events across our country make no sense whatsoever!….

From a president who decided appeasing totalitarian regimes is better than having the resolve to confront them…to organizations literally calling for erasing our history by sandblasting memorials and tearing down statues!

It just makes no sense! The national demeanor has sunk to an all time low under Barack Obama. His ‘transformative’ approach has led to disaster at every turn! Nothing is what it seems and practically EVERY obnoxious, unthinkable behavior is excused and tolerated.

I suppose most of it comes from a society too distracted with as many matters as there are individuals, to care. Yet EVERYTHING is unraveling at the seams. There are those who downplay its significance. That it’s just the natural transition of things. I don’t think so! NONE of this “feels” right…it offers no hope of resolve or resolution where we will find a productive, engaged society. All of it is so artificial…so fleeting!

The time has come to realize, we are lost as a nation. There’s no sense of direction. Just a people waiting to react to whatever foolishness happens next. No leadership is rampant. Sure…you may find a few individuals willing to rise and take charge of certain matters. But, overall there is NO ONE with the sense of how to empower the nation again. The days of that level of reality are long gone.

“I came…I saw…I destroyed!”

Barack Obama has brought nothing but shame to the presidency and tarnished it..perhaps indefinitely. The fact the nation entrusted a man that continues to lie to us with the power to shred our societal fabric is just another indication of how far we’ve fallen. We faced difficulty in the past. But, not from an enemy within. And this loss will see to it that we will never recover…

Incompetence on Parade

From The Daily Beast…

This is Obama’s Last Foreign Policy Chance – Leslie H. Gelb

The failure of Obama or Biden to show up in Paris made clear that most of the president’s team can’t be trusted to conduct U.S national security policy and must be replaced—at once.
Here’s why America’s failure to be represented at the Paris unity march was so profoundly disturbing. It wasn’t just because President Obama’s or Vice President Biden’s absence was a horrendous gaffe. More than this, it demonstrated beyond argument that the Obama team lacks the basic instincts and judgment necessary to conduct U.S. national security policy in the next two years. It’s simply too dangerous to let Mr. Obama continue as is—with his current team and his way of making decisions. America, its allies, and friends could be heading into one of the most dangerous periods since the height of the Cold War.

Mr. Obama will have to excuse most of his inner core, especially in the White House. He will have to replace them with strong and strategic people of proven foreign policy experience. He’ll also need to seed the Defense and State Departments with new top people serving directly as senior advisers to the secretaries. And he also will need to set up regular consultations—not the usual phony ones—with the two key Senate leaders in this field, Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker and Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain, two people who can really improve his decisions and bolster his credibility. Many will be tempted to dismiss these crash solutions as several bridges too far, as simply unrealistic. But hear me out. It can be made much more plausible than it seems at first blush. What’s more, if Mr. Obama doesn’t do something along the lines of what’s proposed here, he and we are in for unmanageable trouble.

Before I continue, I have to tell you that I’ve never made such extreme and far-reaching proposals in all my years in this business. I’ve never proposed such a drastic overhaul. But if you think hard about how Mr. Obama and his team handled this weekend in Paris, I think you’ll see I’m not enjoying a foreign policy neurological breakdown.

It was an absolute no-brainer for either Mr. Obama or Mr. Biden personally to show the American flag on the streets of Paris. Of course every senior staff person should have recommended it three seconds after the news of the Parisian horrors. So far as we know, none did. Sure, this was an inexplicable and utter staff failure, but the president and the vice president shouldn’t have required anyone to tell them what to do in this situation. It was, after all, about terrorism, the main issue of the era. If all these top officials blew this obvious decision, shudder at how they’ll handle the hard ones.

First, Mr. Obama will have to thank his senior National Security Council team and replace them. The must-gos include National Security Adviser Susan Rice, Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, chief speech writer/adviser Ben Rhodes, and foreign policy guru without portfolio Valerie Jarrett. They can all be replaced right away, and their successors won’t require senatorial confirmation.

Mr. Obama will not be a lesser man but a greater man if he recognizes what’s at stake and accepts the help he must have to ensure our survival.
Here’s who could succeed them and inspire great confidence immediately at home and abroad: first rate former top officials and proven diplomats Thomas Pickering, Winston Lord, and Frank Wisner; Republicans with sterling records like Robert Zoellick, Rich Armitage, Robert Kimmitt, and Richard Burt; or a rising young Democrat of proven ability and of demonstrated Cabinet-level quality, Michele Flournoy. Any one of them would make a huge difference from Day 1 in a top role. Others among them could be brought on to the NSC as senior advisers without portfolio to take the lead on specific problems. These are not just my personal opinions about these individuals; they are practically universal ones.

The State Department really needs help, too. Anthony Blinken, the new No. 2 there, is quite good and should stay. But Secretary of State John Kerry has been described even by the faithful in this administration as quixotic. Any of those mentioned above for the top NSC job could also serve as senior advisers without portfolio to Kerry and Blinken. But they would have to be given real access and authority. Even if they could only do their advising two or three days a week, these are the kind of people who carry most of the relevant information in their heads already, and their experience is unmatched.

Ashton Carter, the defense secretary to be, will be very strong and very good, but he too could use some senior national security/foreign policy advisers to help him through the long list of problems. Particularly good in this role would be Dov Zakheim, a Pentagon undersecretary in a Republican administration. He knows budgets and policy. Carter could also take aboard first rate retired military minds such as Mike Mullen, the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and Jack Keane, the former vice chief of staff of the Army.
And Mr. Obama also has a great opportunity that he should try his best to pursue: establishing a genuine working relationship with two new senatorial power brokers. Bob Corker and John McCain really know their stuff and are very good heads. Nothing can stop McCain from going beyond acceptable limits of critiquing Mr. Obama, and if he’s determined to do it so be it, but he has the knowledge and often the good instincts to really improve the president’s defense policies. This can work only if McCain accepts that he is not president of the United States and commander in chief. At some point, he’d have to be a team player as he has proved he can be. Corker is much more self-controlled and a very wise head on foreign policy. The more Americans get to know him in the coming years, the more this gem of a public servant will be recognized.

Finally, Mr. Obama will need the usual wise men for regular informal consultation: Henry Kissinger, Brent Scowcroft, Zbigniew Brzezinski, and James Baker.

These suggestions are all ad hoc and a bit helter-skelter. But no one can figure out how to make the present Obama team work, and I haven’t heard other solutions.

In the end, making the national security system work comes down to one factor, one man—Barack Obama. He’s the key problem, and he’s the only one who can bring about a solution. He’s such a closed person. He’s first rate as an intellectual thinker, but he thinks about problems as an intellectual and not as a policy maker and a leader. Alas, that’s just too clear. He also doesn’t like to be challenged with give and take. If he were to bring in the kind of people I suggest, he would have to resolve at the outset to give them a full hearing and tangible respect for their views.

The world’s challenges to America today are not mere distractions from domestic priorities. They are gut challenges to our national security in the Middle East, with Russia and China, and with the terrorist threat inside and outside our borders. The terrorism and cyber warfare challenges in particular imperil our very survival.

Mr. Obama will not be a lesser man but a greater man if he recognizes what’s at stake and accepts the help he must have to ensure our survival. End of story.

Jig’s up!….

As the Obama administration seems to be coming apart at the seams, the key players react to Benghazi, the AP phone records scandal, and the I.R.S. selected targeting…

I think it’s well past the time to realize the enemies of the state continue to be just that….

The ‘Reaction’…or another episode of “What they’re REALLY thinking!”

Now we all know the mainstream media fails to do its job nearly every day. And much along those lines, you can count on those in political circles to rarely express what they REALLY think about issues and events. Mitt Romney’s choice of Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) as his running mate will hopefully be a game changer. I’m not sure victory is for certain (though, if we had an informed, rational electorate, it would be!) but Ryan will definitely give the Obama campaign a run for its money! No doubt about it! He’s smart, attractive, and focused on his convictions. With the accent on that last attribute, he REALLY stands out against the Democrats. Few, if any, Democrats possess the courage of their convictions. That concept is completely foreign to them.

Being the intrepid researcher I am, I’ve managed to get the personal reactions of President Obama and his supporters to the new player on Team Romney….

“What the f**k am I supposed to do now?!…Ryan knows this sh*t inside and out.. he knows I don’t know a damn thing about running the country, much less budgets and that crap…I can’t afford to be embarrassed the way I was in that meeting with him a few years back….We’re in some deep s**t!”

“I gotta come up with some dirt on this guy..but I don’t think there is any..nothing we could use, anyway…gotta be something we can lie about…this guy knows what he’s talking about..he knows it!…He’s gonna blow us out of the water…this entire sham I’ve helped create with Barack is going to come tumbling down if I don’t do something!”

“F**k!….we’re in BIG, BIG trouble…I can’t compete with what Ryan says..mostly because it’s the TRUTH…and if he convinces more Americans what a freakin’ JOKE this administration is…we’re f**ked!”

“Please, please don’t let Paul Ryan single me out…please don’t let him expose me for the spineless fraud that I am!…He knows I’m a panty waste as the Majority leader in the Senate…”

“Paul Ryan is going to expose this house of cards we’ve created with this Administration…and it’s all going to go to s**t!…I’m at a loss as to what to do about it!”

“Paul Ryan made me look like an idiot!…he knows his s**t!….we’ve got a fight on our hands and he knows it!”

“Who the hell is Paul Ryan?..”

There you have it!…Prominent…and I use that term loosely..Democrats and their secret thoughts!…Of course, they’d NEVER reveal them to the nation as a whole..they don’t have the guts!…

Let’s hope Paul Ryan takes advantage of that!

JUST THE TICKET – National Review Online

Today’s Democrats

NRO’s Michael Walsh tries to make sense of it all!….

Honor Among Thieves – By Michael Walsh – The Corner – National Review Online

“Bill Clinton does not want Barack Obama to win,” says Dick Morris, and for once I agree with him. For Obama has made two fatal electoral mistakes during his tenure in office, both of which tell me he’s neither smart nor grateful, and certainly not wise in the ways of the criminal organization masquerading as the “Democratic party.”

As I’ve noted here (apropos of Wisconsin) and elsewhere, the best way to understand the modern Democrats is as the unholy love children of 1930s big-city political/gangster machines and 1960s Alinskyite Communists — now out and proud. But Obama, their chosen candidate, only had first-hand experience with the Alinsky crew; he’s too young to remember Tammany Hall and the heyday of the Daley Machine in Chicago. Oh, he’s got the brass-knuckles part down, all right (that’s part of Alinskyism) but he’s twice now violated the first rule of gangsterism: respect your elders.

That’s something that the Hot Springs–raised Clinton understands deep down in his bones. He grew up in a town dominated by my gangster, Owney Madden, was boyhood friends with the son of Madden’s lawyer, and often sat in Madden’s headquarters, the Southern Club on Central Avenue, watching the gangland greats come and go; to top it off, Clinton’s mother, Virginia Kelley, was one of Madden’s nurses. “Bubbles” was an open, check-your-guns-at-the-door city, nominally run by its corrupt mayor, Leo McLaughlin, but, like Arkansas itself, completely controlled by Madden and his New York associates, including Frank Costello.

Insiders know there’s no love lost between the Clintons and Obama, and that — since revenge is a dish best eaten cold — it was only a matter of time before Billy would introduce Barry to the joys of payback. That moment is now upon us.

Further, Obama made a colossal error in giving Bill Daley the back of his handduring the Chicago scion’s brief tenure as White House chief of staff. It’s easy to see the clumsy hand of Obama’s Svengali, Valerie Jarrett, in the Daley firing, and it’s pretty clear that no one in the Emperor’s bunker thought through the consequences of insulting the Daleys, especially with former ally Rahm Emanuel now sitting in Hizzoner’s Chicago office. Remember, too, that Emanuel is a former Clintonite whose principal interest lies in old No. 1. The idea that Rahm would lift a finger to save Obama the instant he determines Barry’s toast is ludicrous. If Walker wins big tonight in Wisconsin, expect a chill wind to start blowing east from Chitown toward Washington.

There is, after all, honor among thieves.

Ladies’ Choice…

As the election draws closer and closer, I’m hoping more American voters will pay closer attention to what’s going on. I mean, after all, it’s just their future at stake. That’s all.

We know politics brings out the stupidity in many….especially those running for office. Or those associated with a candidate. They know their personal fortunes lie with the success or failure of that individual.

Washington and the political landscape is littered with idiocy. Today, however, I thought I’d focus on a few of the ladies out there. I know the men can be “maroons”, as Bugs Bunny would call them. But the women can come up with some doozies on their own!

“There is more work to do, but President Obama is moving our country forward. He believes that your success should not be determined by your background or your zip code; that everyone should get a fair shot, everyone should do their fair share, and everyone should play by the same set of rules. Republicans in Congress believe that everyone should be left to fend for themselves. The difference between these two positions could not be more clear.”

The insipidly mindless Valerie Jarrett, writing in the Huffington Post….As you can see, she’s quite adept at lying through her teeth….

“”Because I know the Constitution. This bill is iron clad, it is iron clad. Nobody was frivolous with the Constitution and the health of the American people when writing the bill [ObamaCare].”

What would a day be without more lunacy from the queen of Washington idiots, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)?

“I think the next act will be dragging women out of patient rooms into the streets and screaming over their bodies as they get dragged out of getting access to women’s health care,” ….“That’s what I feel like is occurring today with the legislation that is on the floor.”

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) enlightening us with more of her astute observations….You people in Texas seriously need to come to your senses!

“At some point after I was hired by them, I . . . provided that information to the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard,’’ ….“My Native American heritage is part of who I am, I’m proud of it and I have been open about it.”

Massachusetts Senatorial candidate, Elizabeth Warren (D), who apparently has no idea WHO she is. An idiot is an idiot, no matter what her heritage is….

The conventional wisdom is that women are more sensible…more practical. Appears these ladies, and many more like them, are textbook examples of exceptions to that rule!

Wake up out there! If you want change in Washington, keeping these members of of the fairer sex around is NOT the way to go about it!

More ‘Stupidity on Parade!’

Yes…it’s that time again! More examples of rampant idiocy out there!…We have some doozys today!…

"Take advantage of this interactive opportunity to learn critical thinking skills that will help you in college and gain insight into becoming a global leader of the 21st century. Learn about the Occupy Wall Street movement and explore real-life human rights implications. Review social justice concepts and explore human rights issues related to current events. Young people hold the power to change their community, their schools, their future -- are you ready to join the movement for justice?"

Montgomery College in Maryland is offering a very enlightening course, it seems. I mean, who wants to waste time actually LEARNING something, when you can ‘protest’ in an attempt “get what you deserve”!?

" Let’s face it: Even though we had a terrible economic crisis three years ago, throughout our country many people were suffering before the last three years, particularly in the black community. And so we need to make sure that we continue to support that important safety net. It not only is good for the family, but it’s good for the economy. People who receive that unemployment check go out and spend it and help stimulate the economy, so that’s healthy as well."

Bordering on a level of DANGEROUS stupidity, White House adviser, Valerie Jarrett echoes the Democrat sentiment that it’s better to be given a check by the government, than to actually work….

“We support efforts by the Obama Administration to expand domestic energy resources, including natural gas and renewable sources like wind and solar that create jobs in America and will end our dangerous dependence on foreign energy supplies. This can be achieved because today, the United States currently has more oil and gas rigs at work than the rest of the world combined, and imports of foreign oil have decreased. “We call on the Republican leadership to act on behalf of American consumers and join our efforts to crack down on speculators who care more about their profits than the price at the pump even if these spikes harm the American consumer and our economy.”

A regular when it comes to stupidity, Democrat leader and former Speaker, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on why you’re paying more for gas….This woman manages to outdo herself time and time again…

Yeah,….for those of you worried about some speech Rick Santorum made four years ago, ..this is what we need…we need for more years of the likes of these folks….God help us!….Oh, I allowed to say that?…
