It doesn’t take much for sheer stupidity to rise to the forefront of today’s Democratic party…Here are three of the latest shining examples….

 

“This is climate change…”..“This is climate change. We were warned about extreme weather: Not just hot weather, but extreme weather. When I had my hearings, when I had the gavel years ago — it’s been a while — the scientists all agreed that what we’d start to see was extreme weather.”
“Carbon could cost us the planet…”… “The least we could do is put a little charge on it so people move to clean energy..”

 

California’s lame brain Sen. Barbara Boxer(D), attempting to link the Oklahoma tornado to climate change, not to mention an excuse for a new tax….

 

“The lost tax revenue feeds a budget deficit that has reached troubling proportions. It has helped lead to round after round of budget slashing and the ill-advised sequestration that now threatens our economic recovery. Because of those cuts, children across the country are not gonna get early education from Head Start, needy seniors are gonna go without meals, fighter jets sit idle on tarmacs because our military lacks the funding to keep pilots trained….No company — no company — should be able to determine how much it’s gonna pay in taxes, how many profits they’re gonna keep offshore, how they’re gonna bring ‘em back home, using all kinds of gimmicks to avoid paying the taxes that should be paid to this country. If you want to hold up a mirror, you can hold up a mirror to anybody you want. You can apologize to anyone you want. This subcommittee is not gonna apologize to Apple.”

Michigan’s moronic Sen. Carl Levin (D) attempting to lay blame at Apple’s doorstep for the country’s fiscal woes…It’s clear ANY successful company will be a target in today’s idiotic political climate. The way things are going, NO business will be allowed to make a profit. Apple did nothing illegal in its payment of taxes, yet these fools in the Senate like Mr. Levin will look for any scapegoat to cover up for their mishandling of our nation’s finances.

 

“So, you may have a question for me…”..“Why do you care? Why do you, Sheldon Whitehouse, Democrat of Rhode Island, care if we Republicans run off the climate cliff like a bunch of proverbial lemmings and disgrace ourselves? I’ll tell you why. We’re stuck in this together. We are stuck in this together.”…. “We are stuck in this together. When cyclones tear up Oklahoma and hurricanes swamp Alabama and wildfires scorch Texas, you come to us, the rest of the country, for billions of dollars to recover. And the damage that your polluters and deniers are doing doesn’t just hit Oklahoma and Alabama and Texas. It hits Rhode Island with floods and storms. It hits Oregon with acidified seas, it hits Montana with dying forests. So, like it or not, we’re in this together.”

 

Rhode Island’s foolishly idiotic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D), again, blaming global warming for the Oklahoma tornado…and apparently the rest of the country too…

 

THIS type of thinking is what continues to do damage to our nation. These members of the Senate haven’t a CLUE what life outside of D.C. is like for everyday Americans. Yet, they can espouse idiotic commentary from their lofty positions…which I can GUARANTEE you not a  one of them is worthy of the job…and we’re supposed to look at them as champions, as benefactors. Their shameless, disgraceful behavior in government is what should be the cause for concern. They are there to serve themselves alone. They carry a dangerous amount of power to influence life in this nation and on that they have miserably failed! They have no dignity and no shame. I see absolutely NOTHING in common with the likes of Boxer, Levin, or Whitehouse…as well as many other members of Congress. The sooner THIS type of politician is removed from office, the better for the nation!

 

Dysfunction and Dysfunctional

As the country learned more and more about the incompetence of the Obama administration this past week, it continues to astound me…well, not really…it’s to be expected…how utterly dismissive and contemptuous the White House and its supporters continue to be.

We have a President who is as disconnected from the American people and, apparently reality, as one can be. An administration that seems to operate from whim to whim. Staffed by individuals whose vindictiveness is only exceeded by their arrogance. There is no accountability and no responsibility. Yet those that dare to question this dangerous and damaging behavior are, THEMSELVES, portrayed as the problem. A sympathetic media, which long ago decided its roll as watchdog was over, continues to shield Mr. Obama despite the obvious. And, of course, the usual cast of moronic characters decide it’s time to come to his defense with their atypical incendiary and senseless remarks. As if THEIR opinion matters even in the slightest! Elitist attitudes and snob commentary has no value and no relevance. Unfortunately for us, no one has told these morons…

Michael Moore on ‘Real Time with Bill Maher’…THIS is what passes for rational thought on the left…

Watergate really was a scandal, but we now have a lot of people who try to use scandal to settle policy differences by other means, who take mini-scandals and try to use them to get some policy edge or a political edge”… “And I actually think we as a country have become over-addicted to scandal as a way to destroy other people. And that was in the Supreme Court hearings, and that’s in a lot of the scandals. So, I think it’s bred a politics of cynicism which kind of reverberates, without the actual substance of a major act of corruption.”

Columnist, David Brooks, trying desperately to downplay the incompetence of the Obama White House…In his mind, this is all trivial; nothing but political maneuvering…He looks at all of it as no “major act of corruption..”

” And the question isn’t who edited what talking points. That is largely irrelevant.”

Just like former Secretary of State Clinton, Obama aide, Dan Pfieffer on “Face the Nation” continues the Benghazi cover up strategy employed by his boss… Mr. Pfeiffer also used “irrelevant” to describe the law’s application to the I.R.S. tactics targeting conservative groups while appearing on ABC’s “This Week”…

The mindset of these people, and many more like them, is to disregard the seriousness of the situation by dismissing any competent claim whatsoever. The tactic is to cast aspersions as to the “motive” behind charges and accusations. And, as is often the case with President Obama, these charges are solidly rooted in truth and fact. But we know that doesn’t matter. Excuses and denial. That’s what matters to the Obama administration. Americans can die. Americans can be subjected to unfair governmental practices…and it doesn’t matter. Defending the actions of THIS administration are the first priority. Mr. Obama and his staff will NEVER accept any connection that ties them to what really happened in Libya, with the I.R.S., or with the Justice Department’s tactics in seizing the phone records of the Associated Press. Never! They will parade before the adoring media to continue the parade of lies before an increasingly weary American public.

In the meantime, we are expected to disregard it all as just Washington politics. Which is EXACTLY what THIS President hopes for!

I think you get the point being made here. Barack Obama has proven himself to be a disgraceful President. His arrogance and condescension are directed daily toward the American people. His defensive posturing is obviously covering up an inept, corrupt, and abusive administration. He has surrounded himself with obviously like minded individuals who are proving to be disastrous for this nation. If he possessed a shred of courage and dignity, he would resign his office. A President without the trust of the People is a failure. And the time has come for this President to face that fact.

AN INTERVIEW WITH BARACK OBAMA ABOUT THE IRS SCANDAL, AP PHONE RECORDS, AND BENGHAZI

“Does Barack Obama have any idea what is going on in the government that he is supposedly running?  Scandals are erupting all around him, and he supposedly was not aware that any wrongdoing had taken place in any of those instances.  It is almost as if every major government agency has gone rogue and Obama has no idea what the heck they are doing.  According to Obama, he often doesn’t learn what those under his authority are up to until he sits down and turns on the news.  Should we believe him when he claims ignorance over and over again, or is Obama just trying to protect himself?  Whether you are a Republican, a Democrat or an Independent, the revelations that have come out in recent days about the IRS, the seizure of AP phone records and Benghazi should be very alarming to you.  Taken together, these scandals paint a picture of a federal government that has become drunk with power, and no matter where you may fall on the political spectrum that is something that nobody should want.

Posted below is a fictional interview that I have created between an anonymous reporter and Barack Obama about the IRS scandal, the seizure of AP phone records, Benghazi and other sensitive topics.  Yes, this interview is a bit absurd, but so is the notion that Barack Obama is completely ignorant about so many important things that are going on inside his own government…

REPORTER: “President Obama, the IRS has publicly admitted that they were specifically targeting patriot groups and Tea Party organizations for ‘extra scrutiny’.  When did you first learn about this?”

 

 

REPORTER: “But how is that possible?  We have now learned that the targeting of patriots and Tea Party groups began as early as March 2010.  The head of the IRS tax-exempt organizations division was informed about this targeting in June 2011, the chief counsel for the IRS knew about this targeting by August 2011, thedeputy commissioner for services and enforcement knew about this targeting byMarch 2012, and IRS Commissioner Steven T. Miller knew about this targeting byMay 2012.  Throughout this period of time, the IRS repeatedly lied to Congress when they were specifically asked about the targeting of conservative groups.  Are you claiming that nobody from your administration ever had any contact with anyone from the IRS about this?”

 

 

 

REPORTER: That is what the IRS was claiming at first.  But now the Washington Post is reporting that “IRS officials at the agency’s Washington headquarters sent queries to conservative groups asking about their donors and other aspects of their operations, while officials in the El Monte and Laguna Niguel offices in California sent similar questionnaires to tea-party-affiliated groups.”  That would seem to indicate that this was being coordinated on a nationwide level by someone at the IRS.  Would you care to comment on that?

 

 

 

REPORTER: But you were just commenting on it.  Don’t you think that the American people deserve the truth about this?

 

 

REPORTER: Okay, let’s switch gears.  Did you know that the Justice Department was spying on AP reporters just months before the 2012 election?  Did you know that two months of cellular, office and home telephone records were secretly obtained without any explanation last April and May?

 

 

REPORTER: The Associated Press is now the enemy?  Without a free and independent media, what would keep us from descending into tyranny?

 

 

REPORTER: But shouldn’t we be alarmed when government agencies target specific groups of people for their political beliefs?  Breitbart is reporting that the EPA “has routinely charged conservative and watchdog groups fees that the agency has waived for the mainstream media and ‘green’ groups”.  Do you know anything about this?

 

 

 

REPORTER: I understand that these are tougher questions than you normally get from the media.  But I think that the American people deserve some answers.  For example, would you like to discuss Benghazi?

 

 

REPORTER: Very funny Mr. President.  What about the Fast and Furious scandal?  Would you be willing to talk about that?

 

 

REPORTER: Are there any difficult subjects that you would be willing to discuss?  I have questions here about the Secret Service prostitution scandal, Solyndra, the new NSA spy center out in Utah, government ammunition stockpiling, the NDAA, drone strikes, Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezko and Bill Ayers.  Would you be willing to answer any of those questions?”
